Barbara Hall is an Audit and Consulting Partner at Vasquez + Company LLP based in the Irvine office. With more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, she specializes in audits, reviews, and attestation engagements for nonprofit organizations, public companies, and privately owned businesses. She has served clients across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, senior living, technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, construction, and professional services.
Barbara has been instrumental in implementing artificial intelligence and data analytics in audit practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy. She has also served as a subject matter expert on California financial reporting requirements for skilled nursing facilities, guiding new legislation impacting the industry.
Prior to joining the firm , Barbara was an audit partner at Wipfli, LLP, a top 25 CPA firm. She previously served as the national audit director at Mueller Prost, where she played a pivotal role in the firm’s merger with Wipfli in 2021. Her career also includes leadership positions at Brown Smith Wallace LLP (now Armanino) and RSM US LLP. Throughout her career, she has advised organizations on complex financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and best practices in audit and accounting.
Barbara is a licensed CPA in California and Missouri. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA), and the Missouri Society of CPAs (MOCPA).
Barbara earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
